Life at Covéa Digital

My role as a Junior Software Engineer means I get to build exciting new tech every day. Working in a squad as a junior, my team and I work closely to support each other and allow opportunities to grow and develop. I also line manage tech apprentices and interns which I absolutely love as I get to mentor, guide, and support their career at Covéa Digital. As a team we are innovative in the digital space with our external and internal culture and environment. We create workshops for young people at high schools, introducing them to the digital side of Covéa as well as putting on social events for our people. I’m also on the Aspiring Leaders Programme, a level 3 management course developed at Calderdale college in partnership with local businesses. I can be creative in my role as a Junior Software Engineer and continue this as an off-screen outlet. Outside of work, I love to use my creativity to draw and paint, everything from cathedrals to jungle prints! I started being crafty with clay then experimented with different mediums: painting, sewing, drawing and I just love trying new things. I document all my creative ventures on my Instagram @limeandfeather
